It explores the history of the Euphrates River during the war in Syria, and the demographic and political transformations that unfolded around it. The narrative follows the lives of three Syrian women from different religious and ethnic backgrounds, living along various stretches of the river in northern and eastern Syria.

The story sheds light on the impact of war on women and reveals how the river became a symbol of memory, resistance, and survival in the face of forced change brought on by the conflict.
